Corner of Lleona and Escudellers Blancs...
...in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.

We neighbors have been bearing this situation for about a month (or more) now, despite numerous letters to the local administration...
If you happen to come by our neighborhood, please don't aggravate the situations by dumping your refuse or knocking over the barriers that are placed their for the safety of passing pedestrians.
Thanks.

Carrer Sant Ignasi

Every time I pass this little street, parallel to Via Laietana, perpendicular to C. de la Princesa (see the official www.bcn.cat map below), I'm always drawn to look down to see what's going on through there... This time there's some building rehabilitation (the green curtain over the facade of the building). Other times there's new graffiti (in this case, recently painted over with that pastel fecal matter color the city uses to paint over spray paint) by the local/foreign street artists/vandals (take your pick... I suppose the difference is simply whether you ask permission first >8-| ).
In any case, the light was good. Not too much, not too little.
The photos were taken just yesterday.
Peace.
